The Lingo power supply is a significant upgrade to any of the internal power supplies otherwise used in a Linn Sondek LP12. The latest generation is neater, more compact and cleverer than ever. The Linn Akurate LP12 includes a new Linn Lingo IV power supply. 

The Lingo drives the LP12’s platter consistently at the correct speed — 33.3 or 45 rpm. It does this with a motor speed management system that includes a tachometer feedback loop, as developed for the top spec Linn Radikal DC power supply. The new Linn Lingo uses DSP to produce noise free power regulated by the Tachometer for exact speed, and therefore music pitch and timing. 

The new Lingo MK IV is significantly smaller than previous models. The power supply sits alone in the off-board case with the motor control and speed regulation circuits mounted inside the turntable, close to the motor. The start-stop switch remains on the turntable in the usual place.  

Lingo is available in a black finish.
